 Good Product If Small Size Is Most ImportantJun 13, 2008
The best thing about the Eye Stic by far is its small size. Carrying the case is like carrying a pen. If you just throw the glasses in your pocket they are even smaller and in my experience durable enough to take it. I've owned several pairs and have never had a pair break on me - even with some abuse.
I do have some minor complaints. By some measures they are too small. The frame could be a little wider (a centimeter or two) for comfort, and the stems are just a little short, so they have a tendency to slide off your face. The case is also a little flimsy. For the price I was expecting lightweight metal. Instead the frame can be cracked by a simple squeeze in your hand.
So in short these are a decent pair of glasses for people on the go, right there when needed and never in the way when not. But for the money - they ain't cheap - the manufacturer could make a few improvements to make them even better.

These are the most AWESOME reading glasses ever made. My husband had a similar pair that I bought him 4 years ago. They were horribly scratched, so I went In search of a new pair. I could not find them ANYWHERE-so I started searching on-line. Of course, I found them on Amazon. Thank you "Eye Stic" for innovation! These unique slim readers sold us originally because of the case - it is a tube the size of a thick, high-end pen (no names mentioned, of course). You can keep them in a chest pocket and, with a simple slip of a finger, the glasses pop-up for easy, instant access. BUT- kudos to "Eye Stic"!! This new pair is BETTER in it's construction - if they should wind up face down, the glass does NOT touch the surface they're on - ergo preventing scratching. The magnetic feature is INGENIOUS - instead of misplacing them every time you take them off and leave the room, you simply place the lens side against a metallic surface, and, by golly, you surely can't miss them when you re-enter!!! No more frantic searching! For my hubby (an armored car/ATM tech), when he's getting out of the truck to do a pick-up? He simply "sticks" them to the metal desk or any wall of the truck. He loves them, and the construction quality is top-notch.
