Micro-engineered lenslocks add both flexibility and flair. An exercise in creative contrast. Attache Phenom: Subtle style meets high performance in the Attache collection. The Phenom design features a frame made of lightweight Mg-Al alloy treated to a rich anodized finish. And treat yourself to added comfort with adjustable nose pads and resilient spring hinges -- perfect for people who need to put on and remove their glasses frequently. i-FI lens coatings: i-Fi lens coatings filter and protect. Our proprietary nano-filters help capture all of the good light coming from the computer screen while diffusing the bad reflective light and glare. The outer coating provides a protective layer that shields the lens from scratching, abrasion, and oxidation damage. fRACTYL lens geometry: Computer generated fRACTYL lens geometry mimics nature through advanced science and engineering. Aiding the natural focusing power of the cornea, our lens geometry eases eyestrain caused by near distance computer viewing. fRACTYL lens geometry uses independently curved front and back surfaces to provide unparalleled distortion-free optics. Fused with Gunnar frames, the tightly arced lenses form a personal ocular microclimate that prevents dry eyes. iONik lens tints: iONik lens tints take harsh artificial light and precisely tune it to match the anatomy of the eye. Our custom organic dye compounds condition and shift transmitted light into the preferred color spectrum, increasing visual contrast, detail and resolution. Edges of screen pixilated images read more easily and interfering blue light is reduced -- ultimately your eyes are less fatigued. diAMIX lens material: DiAMIX is the next generation of lens materials for those that demand the highest optical qualities. | | | Features: | |

Interesting Item That WorksJan 21, 2010 I bought this item from gunnar's site directly (15% coupon code: THANK-U) and I have to say that I am fairly impressed. The glasses warm up the screen and add a slight zoom, as other reviewers have said. It doesnt feel like a whole lot until you take the glasses off and compare the before and after. It is very tough to go back to not wearing the glasses. Without glasses, text appears smaller and the screen is very bright and harsh. I stare at 2 30" monitors for over 10 hours per day and these glasses really do help.

Seemed to work at first, headaches later.Dec 21, 2009 At first, I was hopeful and impressed by how this changed the way things looked on my screen. After using them intermittently for a few hours, I started to get some eye strain and then a fairly intense headache. I stopped using the glasses and it all went away.
Much like seeing with 3-D glasses, the problem with these is it brings objects and words that during normal vision are out of focus when you are not focusing on them. This tempts the eye to try and look at those things because now they are clearer.
I gave the glasses a few more tries and got the same result. They seemed to be well constructed, stylish, and all that, but it didn't work as intended with me so I had to return them. Also, though they are nice, I'm not sure that they justify the price. I'm also in the camp that thinks any sunglasses over $20 are ridiculous, so I might be biased towards that notion when it comes to judging these. They didn't feel so well constructed as I thought $100 glasses ought to be. Nor did I see that the lens technology (though it does have lots of acronyms) is so advanced that it should command this kind of price.
