Description:

Closed circuit. The electricity flows fast in this slimmer silhouette frame. Reduced frame height delivers full coverage performance, the SheaDog ergonomically fits a wide range of face shapes. Low profile temples provide headset compatibility and long haul ergonomics. i-FI lens coatings: i-Fi lens coatings filter and protect. Our proprietary nano-filters help capture all of the good light coming from the computer screen while diffusing the bad reflective light and glare. The outer coating provides a protective layer that shields the lens from scratching, abrasion, and oxidation damage. fRACTYL lens geometry: Computer generated fRACTYL lens geometry mimics nature through advanced science and engineering. Aiding the natural focusing power of the cornea, our lens geometry eases eyestrain caused by near distance computer viewing. fRACTYL lens geometry uses independently curved front and back surfaces to provide unparalleled distortion-free optics. Fused with Gunnar frames, the tightly arced lenses form a personal ocular microclimate that prevents dry eyes. iONik lens tints: iONik lens tints take harsh artificial light and precisely tune it to match the anatomy of the eye. Our custom organic dye compounds condition and shift transmitted light into the preferred color spectrum, increasing visual contrast, detail and resolution. Edges of screen pixilated images read more easily and interfering blue light is reduced -- ultimately your eyes are less fatigued. diAMIX lens material: diAMIX is the next generation of lens materials for those that demand the highest optical qualities.

5They're great!Sep 16, 2009
I bought them two days ago and I can tell the difference already, they don't weight anything.. you can barely know they there but you definitely going to notice the yellow tint, takes a little time to get used to but they actually reduce eyestrain, have a little zoom effect that helps you focus the screen too. The first thing I noticed was the super slim frame, they look a little fragile and are very flexible too, overall great pair of glasses!

4Helps ease strain and stress from staring at computer screensMar 12, 2009
I bought these glasses in hopes of easing the strains from staring at a computer screen all day. They have helped in that regard. The only reason these don't get 5 stars from me is the appearance of the glasses. People have commented on the yellow tinting, and it looks a bit strange. If there was a way they could ease the tinting so that they look like normal glasses I'd gladly give them 5 stars.

4They actually workOct 27, 2008
Normally, I would be skeptical about the claim that these glasses can reduce computer eyestrain, but I saw these featured on Gizmodo where the author of article actually said that these worked. I suffered from eyestrain which would turn into headaches but I've had these glasses for about a week and I can honestly say they work. Not having the headaches makes the price worth it.
