Description:

Our high end Multi-View computer reading glasses feature specially designed lenses that allow you to see both close-up AND intermediate objects clearly and comfortably. The thin, light weight lenses automatically change in power without any lines! Plain readers only correct for your reading distance. Objects that are just inches further away may appear blurred or even distorted. This is because the power that allows you to see an object up close is too strong for viewing intermediate objects like your computer screen. This optical quality frame uses a CR39 aspheric designed scratch resistant lens with no visible lines. You should know that most glasses advertised as computer reading glasses are inexpensive cheaters with an added anti-glare coating, or a very subtle tint, to reduce glare and reflection. The magnification of normal reading glasses functions at the distance at which you would comfortably hold a page to read it - 14 to 18 inches. Generally, you sit 24 to 30 inches from your monitor, a distance beyond the functional range of your reading glasses. Our Multi-View lenses are multi-focus lenses with two levels of magnification for near and intermediate distances. Order your normal reading glass strength which and the lens will have this power on the bottom of the lens, with a .75 power difference on the top 1/2 of the lens. If you normally wear a +2.0 strength, your Multi-View lens will have a +2.0 on the bottom of the lens and a +1.25 on the top 1/2: basically a no-line multifocal (occupational) lens. Theyre great at the computer but theyre also very useful for the person who doesnt want to look like theyre wearing bifocal reading glasses. Frames are high end optical quality with spring hinges. Includes a hard case, cleaning cloth and glass clip. Here's the optical sizing scoop on Style 17: Lens: 50mm, Bridge: 18mm, Temple: 140mm

5Absolutely BEST GLASSES EVER!!!Aug 12, 2010
I've bought many reading glasses in my day. I'm 49 yrs. old. These glasses even beat prescription glasses, which I've also had. You cannot & will not go wrong ordering these glasses in whatever shape you choose. Whatever suits your taste & face. Comes with a sturdy hard case leather glasses case. Came within 3 days of ordering them! Free Shipping. I wear these glasses all day for everything I'm doing. People say, Hey I love your new glasses, they suit your face so well! I can go on & on but I do hope you decide to buy them. You won't be disappointed at all, but pleased out of your gourd!!! I love them!!! :)

4Happy with theseApr 23, 2010
Although it took a while to get used to the different magnification levels from top to bottom on the lenses, I am happy with these bifocals. I wear them at the office when I have to read from paper and then work on the computer, and they do a great job at preventing eyestrain. The lenses also have an unusual shape that I find very complimentary to my face. The glasses overall are very sturdy and they come with a nice hardshell case.

The one drawback I found when I first started wearing them was if I turned my head very fast the computer screen appeared to stretch diagonally, which can be a very disturbing effect. Fortunately the eyes do learn to accommodate, and the lack of eye fatigue at the end of the day is well worth it.
